Crocus Smile, The Second

In fall 2013, I decided to plant some crocus bulbs in a pattern on my lawn.  Here's a post about it the next spring, when things were coming up. 

My crocus are done blooming for the spring, alas, but the plants are doing their part.  The smile didn't really work great this year because different crocus bloomed at different times.  You could see there was something, but you couldn't really see the smile unless you knew that's what was there.  Now, however, it's much clearer, in a way.

 

It's more obvious in person, but you can probably make it out if you look.  And yes, one of us needs to mow her lawn.
